CAFÉ WORKER

Description:

Café Workers are assigned to the Carnival Café. Café workers organize, prepare, serve, and clean-up food in the café. Café workers use computer software to record purchases. They assist in keeping the café clean, and in preparing and serving foods for parties/events. Café workers provide quality and safe food service to campers, club members, and guests. This includes food preparation and kitchen cleanup.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food served using established production procedures and systems.
• Assist with presentation of food and service as directed.
• Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
• Assist in proper storage of food within standards.
• Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, attractive, safe, functional food service equipment and facilities that meet or exceed state health codes.
• Perform other food service activities as requested. 

Requirements:

• Must be at least 14 years of age;
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a hot, humid and fast-paced workplace.
• Successful completion of background screening.
• Must commit to working the full swim season: May-September 2025.
• Must provide NJ Working Papers.if under age 18
• Supervised by the Cafe Manager
